📊 Widget Guide

This guide explains what each dashboard widget shows, how it calculates its numbers, and how you can use them to understand your business performance.


🧾 Overall Sales

Tracks total sales activity during the selected date range.

  • Represents successful transactions processed during the selected period.

  • Automatically updates if orders are refunded or charged back.

  • Formula:
    amount = gross sales - (discounts + refunds + chargebacks) + (shipping + fees + taxes)
    count = number of paid orders
    aov = orders amount / orders count

Placed

  • Includes the value of all orders, regardless of payment or status.

  • Helps visualize order placement trends over time.

  • Formula:
    amount = (gross sales - discounts) + (shipping + fees + taxes)
    count = number of placed orders
    aov = orders amount / orders count


🎟️ Discounts

Shows discounts applied through coupons or promotions.

  • Total discount value applied to completed orders.

Placed

  • Total discount value across all orders, regardless of completion status.

  • Formula:
    amount = coupons + luckydip
    count = number of coupons used


📦 Product Insights

Breaks down performance by product to help identify top sellers and product trends.

Metrics

  • Paid: Products in successfully completed orders.

  • Placed: Products from all orders created during the date range.

  • Processed: Products included in orders fulfilled by the warehouse.

Views

  • Top by Quantity: Most popular products by quantity sold.

  • Top by Value: Highest-grossing products.

  • Products Quantity: Total number of products ordered.

  • Products Amount: Total product value in orders.


🚚 Shipments

Tracks warehouse and logistics activity.

  • Created: When shipment details were first sent to the warehouse (resends excluded).

  • Processed: When the warehouse packaged and marked the order as ready for shipment (resends excluded).


🔁 Resends

Monitors resend shipment activity.

  • Created: When resent shipment details were first sent to the warehouse.

  • Processed: When the warehouse completed packaging for the resend.


🗒️ Annotations

Displays comments or notes left by users on widgets within the selected date range. Use this to document insights, highlight trends, or leave reminders for your team.


🏬 Sales by Store

Breaks down performance by sales channel or store.

  • Successful transactions processed during the selected dates.

  • Updates dynamically for refunds and chargebacks.

  • Formula:
    amount = gross sales - (discounts + refunds + chargebacks) + (shipping + fees + taxes)
    count = number of paid orders
    aov = orders amount / orders count

Placed

  • Includes all orders by creation date, showing trends across stores.

  • Formula:
    amount = (gross sales - discounts) + (shipping + fees + taxes)
    count = number of placed orders
    aov = orders amount / orders count


🤝 Customer Service Sales

Displays orders processed through the Customer Sales Recovery flow only.

  • Paid: Successful transactions during the selected dates.

  • Placed: All created orders in the flow, regardless of status.


👥 Customers

Provides insight into your customer base and purchasing behavior.

  • Paid: Includes customers who completed at least one purchase.

  • Placed: Includes all customers, even if they haven’t purchased.

  • New vs. Returning: Segments customers based on prior order history.

Return rate formula:
return rate = (returning customers / total customers) × 100


⚙️ Conversion Tracking

Helps visualize how effectively visitors convert into buyers and how orders progress through statuses.

Payment Method Conversion

  • Paid: Tracks successful transactions out of all attempts, per payment method.
    conversion rate = (method paid $ total / method placed $ total) × 100

  • Placed: Shows the overall distribution of payment methods across all orders.
    conversion rate = (placed orders by method $ total / total order $) × 100

Order Status Tracking

  • Drag statuses (e.g., Orders → Delivered) to see conversion rates between them.
    order status conversion rate = (value R / value L) × 100


📈 Attach Rate

Shows how often customers add upsell products to their orders.

  • Paid: Reflects successful transactions in the selected date range (adjusts if refunded or charged back).

  • Placed: Includes all created orders regardless of status.

  • Formula:
    attach rate = (orders with ≥1 upsell ÷ total orders) × 100

Use this to:
Track how effective upsell offers are and identify opportunities to increase average order value.


💡 Upsell Product Insights

Focuses exclusively on upsell products — items added to an order as upgrades or add-ons.

Metrics

  • Paid: Values from completed upsell orders.

  • Placed: All upsell product values from created orders.

  • Processed: Upsell items fulfilled by the warehouse.

Views

  • Top by Quantity: Most frequently purchased upsell items.

  • Top by Value: Upsell products generating the most revenue.

  • Products Quantity: Total number of upsell products in orders.

  • Products Amount: Total value of all upsell products.


💰 Upsell Overall Sales

Tracks sales activity for upsell orders only, mirroring the main Overall Sales widget but focused solely on upsell transactions.

  • Successful upsell order transactions processed during the selected dates.

  • Updates for refunds and chargebacks.

  • Formula:
    amount = gross sales - (discounts + refunds + chargebacks) + (shipping + fees + taxes)
    count = number of paid upsell orders
    aov = orders amount / orders count

Placed

  • Includes all upsell orders regardless of status or payment completion.

  • Formula:
    amount = (gross sales - discounts) + (shipping + fees + taxes)
    count = number of placed upsell orders
    aov = orders amount / orders count


Tip: Most widgets allow you to toggle between Paid, Placed, and sometimes Processed to change what part of your order lifecycle you’re analyzing.
