Paymonix Banning & Fraud MonitoringUpdated 12 days ago
The first act against suspicious activity is to categorize customers on the Paymonix Ban List and/or enable fraud monitoring.
Banning a customer will allow you to ultimately hold a customer's transaction. There are different ban actions depending on what outcome you prefer (based on the customer's suspected fraud). The customer's order will ultimately land in fraud review, depending on which ban is selected.
Types of bans:
Global Ban: Customer is banned from all stores using Paymonix and from applying all payment methods.
Global Payment: One specific payment banned on all stores using Paymonix.
Payment: One specific payment blocked on your store.
Store Ban: Blocked from using any payments on your specific store

Fraud Monitoring
Enabling fraud monitoring will push the customer's order into fraud review no matter what. When you select this option, you can fill out a reason which will let other's know why the customer's order is being held. This will ultimately help in the decision to process or deny the customer's transaction related to the order.
